Northern Scotland lies at the same latitude as Stavanger in Norway and Nunivak Island in Alaska which means that you’re in with a good chance of spotting the ‘Mirrie Dancers’ on a trip to the north coast! Please remember that the lights are a natural phenomenon and can’t be guaranteed - however, the best time to spot them is during the autumn and winter seasons, with their long periods of darkness and clear nights, so our chances are high!
