Full Day - Bamburgh and Lindisfarne
As Bamburgh comes into view, the mighty Bamburgh Castle dominates the landscape, 180 feet high. This quaint village nestles beside pristine beaches as far as the eye can see, huge sand dunes and pretty nature trails. We continue to magical Lindisfarne - the Holy Island, a place of pilgrimage and tranquil beauty, attracting visitors from around the world. We make a short stop at the pretty market town of Alnwick before returning to our hotel.


Full Day - Beamish Open Air Museum
This morning we head to Beamish, the 'Living Museum of the North'. Step back in time and see how people lived and worked in the late 19th and early 20th century. Take the tram to Pockerley Manor and experience 1820's farm life, explore the colliery and railway station or even buy some freshly baked goods from the bakery or have a tipple in the old-fashioned Sun Inn. Staff in period dress guide you through this living history with stories and tales to keep you amused.
